Crochet Glasses Holder
A crochet glasses holder is the perfect solution to keeping your eyewear safe and easily accessible.
Having a glasses holder on your nightstand and coffee table will keep your glasses from falling on the floor and getting scratched and you’ll always know right where they are!
You’ll find the crochet glasses holder free pattern below, or an ad-free print friendly PDF on Ravelry, or Etsy (aff).

I also made one to use as a crochet hook holder that sits on the coffee table where I crochet in the living room.
And I made a couple for my teenage daughters. They’re using them to help organize their vanity drawers.
Why Use a Crochet Glasses Holder?
A crochet glasses holder is more than just a decorative accessory. Here’s why you should consider making one:
- Keeps Glasses Secure: Prevents your glasses from getting scratched or lost.
- Customizable: Choose colors, patterns, and designs that reflect your style.
- Eco-Friendly: Handmade crochet baskets reduce the need for plastic or synthetic cases.
- Great for Gifts: A thoughtful, handmade gift for friends and family who wear glasses.

Yarn
I chose a couple different yarn weight options for the crochet glasses holders shown in the photos.
For the blue glasses holder, I used two strands of Lion Brand Yarns 24/7 Cotton worsted weight yarn held together as one. And for the cream colored sample, I used one strand of Lion Brand Yarns Hue & Me, bulky weight yarn.
During our Mini-Mystery Crochet Along for this eyeglasses holder, some crocheters even used super bulky yarns for their crochet glasses holders and that worked just fine as well. They may have been a tad larger, but this is a crochet basket pattern and not a wearable item, so size isn’t crucial.
